” McDowell Time is a growing watch company based in Rockville, MD, USA. Following our successful Kickstarter release of The DelRay last year, we are here to introduce our newest model, The Sonoma.
This piece is a race-inspired design. There’s something about the speed of cars, the screech of the tires, and the harmony of the engines that create a marvelous passion for racing. Our goal for this piece was to design a watch that embodies that same passion for speed.
The name comes from two places. The first is Sonoma Raceway, a road course and drag strip located in Sonoma, California. The second source is the area where I proposed to my wife in Sonoma wine country. When I think of Sonoma, my heart races, and I am hoping you have the same sensation from our newest offering.” -McDowell Time
